Pride 2020

Queer Connection Lanark realized that because of COVID 19 we would not be celebrating PRIDE nor having social 'get-togethers' as we would normally do.  We also understood that it was important not become invisible because of the pandemic.
In June, in part by donations Queer Connection Lanark was able to purchase space in the following newspapers:
The Perth Courier, The Humm, Smiths Falls Record News and the Carleton Place/Almonte Canadian Gazette.
The display below was seen throughout Lanark County,
listing the four PRIDE committees in the County - all with the intent of ensuring a presence and building solidarity.

Then in September, again as a result of donations Queer Connection Lanark purchased the following ad
in the Perth Courier, listing the 106 businesses who displayed a rainbow sticker in their windows - creating community visibility.
